About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Academic Office at Kellogg College as our Academic Assistant.

Your responsibilities will be varied and will include providing administrative support in relation to student records, academic events, website information, and office communications, among other duties. You will play an important role in the smooth running of the Academic Office and helping the Academic Office to achieve its ambition of providing an efficient and friendly service to all College members and visitors.

You will be responsible for supporting the Admissions process by completing designated tasks such as screening applications, issuing offers, responding to offer holders, visa scanning and dealing with requests and distribution of University cards, supporting Scholarships processes including logging applications, responding to enquiries, updating records and liaising with the Assistant Academic Administrator as required.

You will be joining the University of Oxford's most international college, with a unique mix of students: it is the University's leading college for students reading for degrees on a part-time basis and has a strong and vibrant body of full-time students. The College's wider academic community includes members drawn from across the full range of academic disciplines in the University.

About you

You will have a good IT skills including competence in MS Word and Excel, and a willingness to develop new skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and spoken, with a friendly, confident, professional attitude, and a good understanding of standard administrative procedures with the ability to prioritise effectively, organise time efficiently, and respond flexibly to the demands of the job. You will possess the ability to maintain confidentiality of personal and institutional information. You will have high levels of accuracy and attention to detail and experience of organising and/or delivery of events.
