The university seeks to appoint a 5 year professor of clinical social medicine (50 %) with special focus on social determinants and social and functional ability consequences of health. The professorship is expected to commence on 1 October 2024.
The position belongs to the Section of Social Medicine which is an interdisciplinary research unit with a strong expertise in social determinants of health across the life course. The section continuously contributes to advancing the understanding of factors that hamper social equality in health through novel empirical studies that build on solid theories and advanced state of the art methods with a focus on both qualitative and quantitative methods and multimethod approaches.

Terms of employment The position is a fixed-term position limited to a period of 5 years. The average weekly working hours are 18.5 hours per week.
Salary and other terms and conditions of appointment are set in accordance with the Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and AC (Danish Confederation of Professional Associations) or other relevant professional organisations.
