Interview with Eirinn Larsen about Nordic Gender Equality and Nation Branding
In the latest episode of the podcast series «Uncovering the Nordics», Eirinn Larsen discusses how gender equality is used as a tool for branding the Nordics.

They talk about nation branding and gender equality in the Nordic region, and how these two subjects are interlinked. In the first part of the episode, Larsen answers questions such as: What roles did women play in business and education models from around 1900 to today, what is gender, and what is nation branding? She goes on to explain the roles of stakeholders and researchers in Nordic branding and how gender is used in nation branding processes. Why should we be cautious in our approach to global indexes of happiness and equality? And what differences can we find in gender issues between the Scandinavian countries?
