Summary of the role
A highly motivated and enthusiastic person is sought to join the Workload Planning team. This vibrant team plays a vital role supporting the University's planning and data requirements and works closely with Senior Management and staff from Academic Faculties and Professional Services, in a varied range of activities.
This challenging role offers an opportunity to work on a full-time basis with a wide range of colleagues across the institution in both academic and professional roles to further develop the usage of the University's academic workload planning system. The role holder will develop an oversight of the entire workload planning process and will develop close working relationships with one academic faculty to support the input of workload planning data. The role is responsible for ensuring consistent data is input across several academic units. A key part of the role will be to widely communicate the benefits of the system, engaging stakeholders from across the institution.
You will hold strong analytical and intellectual ability. You will be numerate and confident in the analysis and presentation of data, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to manage a diverse and stimulating workload. You will be confident to act as a champion for the system, advocating for its wider usage and proactively seeking potential improvements. You will be credible and confident in developing strong working relationships with staff at a senior level within the organisation. You will be able to assimilate complex sets of data and communicate the results clearly to a variety of audiences both internally and externally, as well as work independently and as part of a team in various roles.
