  • Position Summary
  • Two (2) temporary hourly-intermittent Work Study student assistant positions for Pre-Construction position in Capital Planning & Facilities Management.

  • Start Date

  • Positions available on or after September 1, 2023 and ending on or before May 31, 2023. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

  • Job Description/Duties

  • Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Create, update, maintain and organize building plans files. The files are both in electronic and paper format.
  • Conduct field surveys and verifications of existing campus spaces through capturing conditions with photographs and measurements.
  • Information collection may include capturing room layouts, interior and exterior signage, site conditions and other features.
  • Provide customer service support, follow up with vendors regarding warranty items, return of unused samples and tidy/catalogue material room.
  • Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

  • Qualifications

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrates enrollment status at CSU Stanislaus at the Junior level or higher.
  • Demonstrates previous office experience.
  • Demonstrates the ability to be detail oriented
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
  • Demonstrates the ability to utilize office equipment (copy machine, scanner, etc.) and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills, motivation, dependability, punctuality and a positive attitude.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work on projects with minimal supervision and/or with a team and willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Demonstrates the capability to be dependable and able to follow through on assignments.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Required Qualifications:

     Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
     Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.
     Salary Range
     $15.50 per hour
