McKendree University is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a graduate assistant coach for the University Women's Hockey Team on its Lebanon, Illinois campus for the 2023-2024 academic year. Tuition and stipend is a benefit of this position.
Women's Ice Hockey competes at the newly constructed McKendree Metro Rec Plex which houses an aquatics center and two sheets of ice for hockey. The graduate assistant will assist the head coach with planning and implementing practices, team travel, recruiting, fundraising, monitoring student-athlete progress, and other duties as assigned.
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and acceptance into a master's program at McKendree University is required. Seeking candidates with prior college playing experience at the NCAA or ACHA level. Although not required as a condition of the position, those with previous coaching experience will be given preference.
Some travel is required.
