Position Title Welding Lab Assistant--MISSOURI VALLEY, Iowa ONLY

Job Description

The welding lab assistant assists welding faculty in coordinating day-to-day classroom labs and to ensure safety.

Full Time/Part Time Regular, Part Time If part time, projected hours (per week) 10-20 as assigned by the dean Organizational Division Academic Affairs Campus Location Missouri Valley Required Qualifications

  • Applicants should have knowledge of current welding practices and trends.
  • Hiring process includes ability to pass a background check, a valid U.S Driver's license, and a good driving record.
  • Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands

    Requires frequent bending, stooping or stretching. May require lifting average-weight objects up to 60 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, use hands to operate a computer keyboard, telephone and other basic office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear and use a phone. Reading, writing, calculating, social interaction skills, organizational skills, reasoning/analysis, and high degree of interpersonal and communication skills is required.
