Responsible for designing and maintaining content for departments under the Chief Financial Officer, including the Office of Talent, Culture and Inclusion and the Office of Information Technology. Content will include, but is not limited to, PDF forms, posters, flyers and brochures. Will address the needs of faculty and staff with design for print and digital mediums.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to gather requirements and feedback and to ensure that needs are met. Develop comp files and media kits to translate customer needs into viable solutions.
  • Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) to create high-quality materials for print and digital content and collateral.
  • Publish content on CMS such as Cascade, Sitecore and Wordpress. Monitor websites under the CFO for compliance with industry best practices and university policy. Assist in development of content for CMS sites.
  • Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure that designs are consistent with UTA's brand identity.
  • Stay up to date on the latest design trends and technologies through professional development opportunities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    Strong understanding of design principles, including color theory and composition. Experience in working under specified brand standards. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    Required Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree or an equivalent three years of experience in a related field.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in related field with at least two years of experience in a related field.

    Preferred Years of Experience

    Demonstrated examples showing two to three years of experience in a related field with certifications in addition to a degree.

    Working Conditions

    May work around standard office conditions.
