Job Title Washline Operator (Full Time) Job Description

The University of Notre Dame Enterprises and Events (UEE) division is currently hiring for the position of Washline Operator within the department of St. Michael's Laundry. The UEE division leads the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.

Why this position? The Washline Operator will launder all incoming soiled linen and personal garments in accordance with industry formulas. In order to meet delivery schedules, the Washline Operator will prioritize wash loads for maximum efficiency act as back up Driver when a Driver is on vacation. This position is included in a weekend rotation for Athletic washes and deliveries.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Skills: Able to lift up to 100 lbs, push and or pull heavy loads, work with strict schedules and meet deadlines and customer demands, understand how to operate wash line and dryer equipment and familiar with laundry software. Must have valid drivers license with clean record.

Preferred Qualifications

Will be trained to achieve Certified Wash Line certificate
