Instructor Responsibilities Fall 2022 MUS 111- Intro to Music Online (3.00 workload) MUSA 136- Marching Band (4.00 workload)
Spring 2023 MUS 111- Intro to Music Online (3.00 workload) MUSA 137- Symphonic Band- (2.00 workload)
Oversee budget, logistics, and all organizational aspects of the performance ensembles
Required Qualifications
Masters Degree in Music or Music Education
Two years of successful teaching at the university, community college, and/or high school level
Preferred Qualifications
Successful secondary teaching background
Excellence in marching band, wind conducting, ensemble performance, or other creative activity
Experience teaching drills for marching band
Demonstrated success recruiting and teaching band students using effective rehearsal techniques and instrumental pedagogy
Demonstrated commitment to and/or success in working with diverse populations on campus and in the community
Special Instructions to Applicants

Additional Information
