Visiting Lectureships in the History of Architecture, Urbanism and Landscape 100%, Zurich, fixed-termprint Drucken
The Institute for the History and Theory of Architecture (gta) is inviting applications for two visiting lectureship positions in the history of architecture, urbanism or landscape. The appointment is limited to two years, with one position starting in February 2024, the other in September 2024.
Job descriptionThe lectureship gives women postdoctoral scholars the opportunity to engage in teaching while autonomously advancing specific research themes. Next to their research and teaching activities, you are expected to participate in the academic and intellectual life of the gta Institute and engage with its exhibition department, archives, and publishing house.
You will contribute substantially and visibly to the educational curriculum of the gta Institute by offering each semester a seminar course on a topic that reflects your research expertise and participating actively in the doctoral program.
Your profileScholars who will receive or have received their PhD in the field of architectural history and theory before June 2023 are eligible. We explicitly encourage women scholars to apply.
