School of Science Computer and Information Science Visiting Lecturer

The Department of Computer and Information Science at IUPUI invites applications for two one-year full-time visiting lecturer positions, beginning June 25, 2023. The appointment is expected to be for one year. The Department of Computer and Information Science, at IUPUI, offers Purdue University degrees at the Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. levels, as well as several undergraduate and graduate certificates. The IUPUI campus, located in downtown Indianapolis, is an urban comprehensive research university with 19 academic schools, including one of the largest medical schools in the nation.

Applicant must hold at least a MS degree in Computer Science or a closely related field at the time of appointment. A successful candidate is expected to teach a regular load (8 courses per year, including summer terms) of undergraduate major or services courses on various computer science and applied computer science topics, and engagement in academic activities such as curricular development, teaching innovations, recruitment, and student services.

Applicants should submit a cover letter and a curriculum vitae. Applicants should also be prepared to arrange for three letters of recommendation upon request. Evaluation of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the positions are filled.
