The School of Public Health and Community Medicine, at the Institute of
Medicine, conducts extensive education and research in global public health,
general medicine, occupational medicine, environmental medicine, social
medicine, medicine use and pharmaceutical policy. We also conduct education
and research within nutritional epidemiology, insurance medicine, innovation
and utilization, health economics, biostatistics and register epidemiology.
We are now seeking a guest lecturer in health economics for teaching in the
masters program in public health.
Tasks include teaching in the health economics courses in the master program
in public health. The position also includes program-general tasks, student
contacts, pedagogical development work, and cooperation with education-
relevant agents within and outside the university. To actively work to achieve

A person who has demonstrated teaching expertise and has completed university
education at second-cycle level at least, or has the corresponding competence
or some other expertise that is of value in view of the subject matter of the

education (PhD) in the health economics subject area or other subject areas
deemed equivalent. In addition to this, great emphasis is placed on
administrative skills and the ability to structure teaching and supervision.

placed on personal suitability. We will mainly consider the applicants who,
after an overall assessment, are considered to have the best conditions to
complete the described tasks. A requirement for the position is a base
employment at another Swedish university or university college.
