The Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine invites applications for a visiting faculty position in the Body Division within the Department of Radiology with the opportunity to transition to a Clinical Track appointment after two years.
This position will join our growing Body Imaging Division. Applicants must be board certified or eligible by the American Board of Radiology and have fellowship training in body imaging. In addition to clinical activities, teaching and call duties are shared across the division. Research startup funds and protected time to pursue academic interests are available.
Education Requirement:
Fellowship trained in Body Imaging. Current fellows in ACGME-approved interventional radiology programs are eligible to apply.
Four years of post-training in radiology.
Required Qualifications:
Board certified by the American Board of Radiology or eligible within the first year of post training.
Working experience in all aspects of body imaging radiology.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with clinicians, patients and trainees.
Desirable Qualifications:
Leadership experience with a demonstrated facility for teaching.
Strong interest in clinical and lab research.
