Job Summary The University of Southern Mississippi invites applicants for a full-time, 12-month, tenure-track faculty position as an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing and Health Professions, School of Leadership and Advanced Nursing Practice. Qualified applicants with teaching/practice experience as a board-certified Nurse Anesthetist are welcome to apply.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications The successful candidate(s) will possess a master's degree in nursing (MSN) and a doctoral degree. Applicants must have 3 years' clinical experience as a certified registered nurse anesthetist. Candidates must hold an unencumbered license to practice nursing and advanced practice standing in the State of Mississippi, meet all requirements of the affiliated clinical agencies, and satisfy a criminal background check. Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certification. Salary and appointment to Assistant Professor will be commensurate with qualifications and experience appropriate for that rank.

Preferred Qualifications Preference for applicants with a minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in didactic nurse anesthesia education.
