Job Description Summary
The Department of Economics of Wake Forest University invites applications for
a Visiting Assistant Professor/Lecturer for the 2021-2022 academic year. The
position is for someone with a field in microeconomics who is able to teach
intermediate microeconomics, introduction to economics, and ideally can also
teach an economics elective from a micro-related field. All classes are at the
undergraduate level. This position is full-time with benefits and carries a
teaching load of 3 courses per semester. A PhD by date of appointment is
required for title of Visiting Assistant Professor, but ABD students will be
considered for appointment as Lecturer.
