Position Summary:
The Department of Global Languages and Cultures at Rollins, a private liberal arts college in central Florida, invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position to teach French and Arabic language courses at all levels beginning Fall 2023. The position is open to a generalist, particularly those with knowledge of pedagogical content development, second language acquisition, curricular design, and innovative methods and approaches in language teaching.
Special preference will be given to those candidates with experience in study abroad, service learning, as well as instructional technology in language instruction. The preferred candidate will be able to make meaningful contributions and increase the diversity of the Department´s course offerings as well as across campus programs, such as African and African American Studies, Middle East and North African Studies, as well as the Latin American & Caribbean Studies.
The teaching load is 4/4.
