Essential Job Duties: Preparation of written materials, Excel spreadsheets, presentations, reports, etc. Assisting Executive Director and other Development staff with scheduling meetings and appointments, and arranging travel. Drafting College of Education Board communications. Managing logistics of Board meetings (e.g. room reservation, catering, A/V equipment, etc.). Collaborating with Communications staff to maintain the Board website. Collaborating with the Office of Development and Communications staff to design and order donor gifts. Preparing prospect and donor briefings in preparation for meetings and events. On an as-needed basis, making personal thank-you phone calls to annual donors within approximately 72 hours of receiving a gift; entering contact reports for thank-you phone calls Assisting the Office of Development and Communications staff with developing emails and other correspondence for events, outreach, campaigns, and other communications. Maintaining and monitoring generic Office of Development email accounts. Managing logistics and communications for development-related events within the College of Education; coordinating with other staff and volunteers when needed. Collaborating with the Dean's office, the Executive Director, and University Special Events to facilitate College of Education staff and donor participation in athletic events.

Minimum Experience/Education

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
