Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Utility Worker/Driver for Dining Services.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

  • Drives University vehicles to pick up and deliver miscellaneous items to insure the proper receipt, storage and replenishment of buildings and grounds supplies.
  • Performs general buildings and grounds duties as required.
  • Responsible for the set up of catered functions at university building locations.
  • Position Status Full Time Hours Per Week Daily Work Shift Rotating Work Arrangement

    This position requires a fully on-site work arrangement.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education and Experience

  • Requires a high school/vocational school education or equivalent.
  • Certifications/Licenses

  • A valid driver's license and two years driving experience.
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Will be required to successfully complete the Rutgers Defensive Driving Course.
  • Must read and be able to follow written delivery schedules, packing lists and catering contracts.
  • Preferred Qualifications Equipment Utilized Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs.

    Immunization Requirements
