Position Overview
Primary Function of Organizational Unit
The Division of Institutional Advancement is responsible for garnering private support for the University which enables the institution to attract and retain talented students.
Primary Purpose of Position
The Assistant Manager of Gifts and Records is responsible for performing all functions necessary for ensuring that donor and gift records are recorded in an accurate and timely manner while adhering to database standards and maintaining database integrity. In addition, the Assistant Manager of Gifts and Records is responsible for the accuracy of all receipts and acknowledgments as well as reports necessary for reconciliation with the NCCU Foundation, donor tax letters, and other duties as outlined by the Manager of Advancement Services. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Advancement Services.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Minimum Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or and equivalent combination of training and experience.
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
