The Faculty of Natural Sciences invites applications for the following
position of Salary Scale W3 NBesO starting as soon as possible: University
Professorship (m/f/d) in Biotechnology of Natural Products / Food
The future position holder should represent the subject "Biotechnology of
Natural Products, Food and Natural Products Chemistry" in research and
teaching. The research focus should be in the field of biotechnologically
oriented natural products and food chemistry with a focus on chemical-
molecular topics. The research concept shall strategically complement and
strengthen the research of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, in particular of
the Chemical Institutes in the field of biotechnology of natural products,
food development, bioprocess technology and technical chemistry and in
particular an active and natural research at the Hannover location. Active
participation in the Leibniz Research Center of Biomolecular Drug Research
(BMWZ) is expected. The professorship will assume teaching responsibilities
in the Bachelor and Master programs in Chemistry and Life Sciences as well as
the Master programs in Molecular Microbiology and Food Research and
