    Main Tasks:

  • Independent research in the area of “Age-associated changes of T cells and vaccination in old age”
  • Independent lectures and teaching including exams
  • Supervision of students (e.g. Bachelor Thesis)
  • Scientific publications, presentation of scientific results at national and international conferences
  • Administrative and organizational tasks
  • Required Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree (Dr. or PhD) in Biology or a related field (e.g. Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Molecular Medicine…)
  • Publications in international peer-reviewed scientific journals
  • In-depth knowledge in immunology (incl. flow cytometry), experience in cell culture and common molecular techniques
  • Good language skills in English and German
  • Please include a short description of a potential project (max. 5 pages)
  • High motivation and engagement, capacity for teamwork, flexibility and independence in the laboratory
