Position Summary Information
Responsibilities
Work with program faculty and coordinators across the College of Education and Human Sciences Unit (inclusive of Arts and Sciences educator preparation program coordinators) to develop and maintain program and unit assessments aligned with the unit assessment framework and consistent with national standards. Monitor unit assessment system and report to apprise dean of necessary changes and strategies. Implement and monitor same with program faculty. Manage data through electronic data management system and review same to identify trends across unit programs. Develop agenda for and conduct annual retreat and assessment committee meetings. Stay abreast of national accrediting requirements, particularly CAEP, to ensure that unit is current in its assessment practices. Monitor individual programs' development and submission of program reports to specialized professional associations. Write or provide supervision for the development and submission of all reports required for national accreditation, with responsibility for the writing of the CAEP reports, as well as other accreditation reports.
Qualifications
Master's Degree or higher in Curriculum and Instruction, Research, Assessment, or Educational Leadership (or related field).
History of successful leadership in managing educational assessment systems aligned with external accreditation guidelines.
Three years teaching experience at the University level or commensurate leadership experience in P-12 school system.
Graduate coursework emphasizing research and statistics.

History of successful leadership or involvement in guiding education programs/units to successful data collection and review associated with meeting external standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Earned doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, Research, Assessment, Educational Leadership, or related field.
Three years teaching experience at the University level.
