Offer DescriptionThe successful applicant will study the role of pdz domain-containing proteins in CCR5 expression and function in HIV-1 target cells, and more specifically their effects on viral entry, infectivity, replication and dissemination.
RequirementsSpecific Requirements
We are looking for highly motivated candidates with a PhD and ideally with experience in basic HIV-1 virology and/or pharmacology of chemokine receptors. An expertise in molecular biology is mandatory. Background in cell culture, flow cytometry, protein analysis (ELISA, western-blot), and confocal microscopy would also be appreciated. Strong organizational and communication skills, enthusiasm, autonomy, team spirit and good English writing and speaking capacities are also expected.
