Lublin University of Technology

announces open competition for two assistant professor positions

in the team of research-teaching employees

at the Department of Electronics and Information Technology

Documents required:

written application for the competition (job application),

covering letter,

CV,

copies of the diploma/s required for the position,

copies of the other documents certifying scientific achievements as well as professional and additional qualifications,

personal questionnaire of the candidate applying for the employment (see the attached pdf file) ,

candidate's statement that Lublin University of Technology will be the place of primary employment (see the attached pdf file) ,

candidate's statement of consent to the processing of personal data necessary in the recruitment process (see the attached pdf file).

Settlement of the competition will not result in employment relationship. Final decision will be made by the Rector of Lublin University of Technology. University reserves the right to close the competition without settlement as well as to reply only to selected applications.

The set of required documents should be submitted in person, sent by post to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Lublin University of Technology, Nadbystrzycka 38A, room 216, 20-618 Lublin, Poland or sent via e-mail to [email protected] by December 1, 2023.

This is to inform that after 60 days of competition completion, the documents of the rejected candidates will be shredded. If a candidate would like the documents to be returned they are obliged to inform us while applying.

Qualifications required:

A candidate applying for the position should have:

PhD Eng. degree in the field of technology, in the discipline of electrical engineering or in the field of engineering and technology, in the discipline of automation, electronics, electrical engineering and space technologies or the equivalent one;

experience in teaching at academic level;

documented scientific achievement in one of the following fields: electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, biomedical engineering, mechatronics, confirmed i.a. by authorship or co-authorship of scientific papers indexed in WoA or SCOPUS;

fluent command of the Polish language in both speaking and writing (confirmed by a certificate in the case of foreigners);

very good command of the English language.

Additional advantage will be completion of courses or trainings useful in scientific or didactic work.

The competition is open to persons who meet the conditions specified in the article no. 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 The Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742 as amended) as well as in the Statute of Lublin University of Technology.
