The Upward Bound Counselor is responsible for the supervision and safety of high school students enrolled in the program. The Counselor's responsibilities include: supervision of students throughout the work week (Sunday through Thursday), monitoring tutorial sessions, managing student behavioral issues, monitor students' curfews, promoting college as the next step after high school, and other duties assigned that aid in the overall goals of the Upward Bound Program. This position will require in person interaction with 60-70 high school students living in a residence hall.
