The Exeter Clinical Trials Unit (ExeCTU), in the newly formed Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, at the University of Exeter, wishes to recruit an experienced Trial Coordinator to join its expanding team. With several new studies due to launch in 2024 this is an exciting time to join a growing and forward-thinking trials unit.
Exeter Clinical Trials Unit (ExeCTU)
ExeCTU is a forward-thinking, rapidly growing and innovative fully registered UKCRC clinical trials unit (www. exeter.ac.uk/ctu/). Our inclusive culture supports and nurtures an ethos to grow and develop talent. Our talented multi- disciplinary team of experts includes statisticians, trial coordinators, trial managers, data managers, IT developers and quality assurance staff, working together to deliver our ambitious strategy and develop innovative ways to design and conduct clinical trials. Our trial portfolio includes high-profile randomised controlled trials in dementia, mental health, orthopaedics and trauma, diabetes, emergency medicine and Covid-19, supported by funding from the NIHR, UKRI, Horizon2020, large charities and others. Studies include regulated drug trials, surgical, device and apps trials, and trials of complex interventions, locally in the South West, nationally and internationally.
