Position Function:
Serves as primary scheduler and dispatcher of all daily driver operations in SMART routes and contracted events. Serves as primary point of contact for drivers for scheduling and shift duties. As the primary contact for drivers, this position also has the responsibility of collecting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection sheets and inputting any maintenance and repair needs to the Asset Works software system. The position will work with and assist all other staff as needed.
Salary Grade: 11

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Schedules drivers for all transit activity, including fixed routes, paratransit, and events. 2. Serves as the primary point of contact for drivers on a daily basis for schedule changes. 3. Serves as the primary point of contact for paratransit scheduling and driver dispatching. 4. Collects pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection forms and inputs any maintenance and repair needs into AIM. 5. Maintains up-to-date driver files. 6. Assists the Transit Manager and other staff in other duties and tasks. 7. Assists in maintaining up-to-date maintenance files on all transit vehicles. 8. Performs other duties as assigned.
