Training Manager/Assistant Training Manager (at the rank of Technical Manager/Assistant Technical Manager) in the Clinical Trials Centre (Ref: 523721)

The Clinical Trials Centre (HKU-CTC) is a leading clinical trials management platform established under the LKS Faculty of Medicine and dedicated to managing and facilitating international-standard clinical trials on new drugs, medical devices and medical technologies. HKU-CTC offers long-term development opportunities to passionate talents who are devoted to a career in the clinical trial profession. We are seeking a high calibre talent to join us as a Training Manager. Those with less experience may be considered for the position of Assistant Training Manager (at the rank of Assistant Technical Manager).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop training materials;
  • Organize and deliver on-site and online training seminars/workshops for clinical research personnel;
  • Coordinating Good Clinical Practice (GCP) examination and other examinations;
  • Perform administration relating to training activities.
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Biological/Medical/Life Sciences;
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in clinical research management and operations (in posts such as project manager, clinical research associate, clinical research coordinator, quality management specialist, or trainer);
  • Good knowledge in GCP, research ethics and regulations, and clinical study site management and operations;
  • Strong presentation and communications skills;
  • Experience in training clinical research personnel is a definite advantage;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese (proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage);
  • The appointment will be made on a two-year fixed-term full-time contract, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary.
