The Training Coordinator role is a fantastic opportunity to support the development of our members at LSU. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for training to help grow and shape the learning journey for our staff and students.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of designing and delivering training that is engaging, relevant and accessible. Experience of analysing learning needs, developing talent, or creating and supporting professional development pathways for a varied and dynamic organisation would be advantageous. An understanding of how to write e-learning would also benefit the role.
As well as creating learning guides on policies, procedures and key skills you will be required to deliver a range of administrative duties such as maintaining training databases, researching and arranging external facilitators, and informing our stakeholders of the requirements and opportunities for their development.

This role is appointed at up to 35 hours per week (standard working hours are 09:00 – 17:00 Monday – Friday with an unpaid lunch break) and up to 52 weeks per year. You will be primarily based in the Union Building, Ashby Road, Loughborough. LSU is supportive, wherever possible, of flexible working arrangements.
The position is offered on LSU Scale 7, currently £26,363- £ 28,761 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) on a fixed-term basis until July 2024. Offers will be made at a pay point appropriate to the skill and experience of the successful candidate.
Appointments made prior to April 1st will be eligible to be awarded an increment in accordance with the annual increment process.
