Duties and Responsibilities
work on the projects of Quality Education Fund (QEF) Thematic Network on
Promoting Wellness in School
provide trainings and on-site consultations to the project team and
participating schools
review and comment the curriculum design and training materials to ensure
they are back by relevant knowledge.
provide timely and clinical advice and support on mental health matters
when the participating schools are in need
engage in research design and program development
crystalize a good practice model and formulate advice through the
consolidation of the experience with the supporting schools and knowledge
gained by research
promote the good practice to the educational field and community for
greater impact via public engagement, e.g., dissemination seminar,
workshop
evaluate the process and project outcome
provide supervision/training to other team members
assist project director in managing ongoing research projects
perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
possess a Master's degree in clinical, education or counselling psychology
and at least 5 years of clinical, academic or professional experience
strong leadership, self-motivated and responsible
an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
(Cantonese)
good interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving
skills
the ability to work on a tight schedule to meet project deadlines
the ability to work independently and in a team
familiarity with the local education system with experience working with
schools and managing educational research projects as an advantage

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis,
with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and
funding availability.
