The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, Department of Allied Health Sciences, School of Medicine invites applications for a full-time, 12-month tenure track or variable track faculty position for an early or mid-career scholar at the rank commensurate with experience and qualifications. Primary responsibilities include research and teaching in the PhD program in Occupational Science and/or Master of Science in occupational therapy (MS OT) program.

Located in the North Carolina Piedmont region in the heart of the Research Triangle, Chapel Hill offers a rich intellectual and cultural community, with the advantages of mild climate, scenic beauty, and easy driving distance to both the mountains and the coast. Educational Requirements

Earned doctoral degree in occupational therapy, occupational science, or related field.

Qualifications and Experience

(1) A clear research trajectory, with publications and a history of extra- mural grant funding preferred; (2) teaching experience in occupational therapy or occupational science; (3) ability and desire to mentor PhD students; and (4) ability to contribute to fulfilling the Division's mission of promoting occupational science, occupation-centered practice, and justice, equity, and inclusion.
