Description

The Department of Business, Government & Society (BGS) at the University of Texas at Austin's McCombs School of Business invites applications for an assistant professor (tenure track) position in strategic corporate social responsibility/ESG effective September 1, 2022. The BGS department (https: // www. mccombs.utexas.edu/departments/BGS) teaches future leaders at all levels of McCombs' curriculum how to recognize and respond to the regulatory, legal, ethical and social expectations that businesses face. BGS aims to contribute to important public policy debates in these and related areas through research that applies social science research methods to relevant questions. A willingness to also engage with UT-Austin's recently launched Global Sustainability Leadership Institute (https: // www. mccombs.utexas.edu/Centers/GSLI), a partnership between the McCombs School and the Moody School of Communication, will be considered an asset.
