  • Description of Position

    Oversee management of the tennis courts/facility:

  • Keep courts, sidewalks and common area clean
  • Maintain parking lot, restrooms, tennis shed/patio area
  • Make sure windscreens are attached properly
  • Keep nets in good shape, replaced as needed, kept at correct height with center straps
  • Courts blown off and washed as needed. During winter inclement weather, Facilities Management will coordinate snow/ice removal as schedule permits.
  • Oversee and update tennis reservation system:

  • Input YC tennis classes into system
  • Input weekly reservations
  • Input tennis pro's lessons/clinics
  • Input special events/tournaments
  • Update website information as needed – work with IT if needed

    Oversee Tennis professionals: Work with local USTA and PATA organizations to help with event programming and coordination Work with Facilities department for general upkeep of tennis facilities as needed Contact Fitness Facilities Coordinator for purchase of nets, windscreens, squeegees, balls, etc. Liaison with tennis patrons/pass holders:

  • Get to know them by name if possible; pass on any feedback
  • Make sure they know how/where to pay for daily and/or monthly/yearly passes
  • Be available for meetings with YC staff, tennis staff, tennis pros and PATA
