A call for tender is open for one Research Scholarship (BI) as part of the
UICISA Research Centre Management Unit: EESEnfC/ESSIPV, UIDB/00742/2020,
funded by national funds through FCT/MCTES allocated by the Foundation for
Science and Technology (FCT), under the Regulation for the Evaluation and
Pluriannual Financing of R&D Units, under the following conditions:

Admission requirements:
- Currently attending a Masters in the areas of Health Sciences, Education
Sciences, Communication and Multimedia, Management, Marketing or Tourism or
holding a degree in the areas of Health Sciences, Education Sciences,
Communication and Multimedia, Management, Marketing or Tourism; students
attending courses that do not confer an academic degree integrated in the
educational project of the institution that are implemented in association or
cooperation with one or several R&D units.
If the degree has been conferred by a foreign higher education institution, it
must comply with the terms of Decree Law No. 66/2018, and Ordinance No.
33/2019, of January 25th.
Benefits
The grant paid will be 875,98€, in full accordance with the values in force
set by FCT for this sort of grant.
The grant will be paid between the 20th and 30th of each month, via bank
transfer made to the IBAN that the grant holder had indicated during the
hiring process.
Eligibility criteria
The selection and ranking methods to be used will be as follows: Curricular
Evaluation and Selection Interview.
The final Score, used to rank the candidates, is expressed on a 0-20 scale,
with the following weights:
- Curricular Evaluation (70%):
- Evaluation of the candidate's Academic Background (30%);
- Proven experience in recent research, demonstration and dissemination
activities within the scientific area of the application (40%);
- Interview (30%).
Candidates who got a 10 or higher in the Curriculum Evaluation will be
selected for the interview.

Requirements for the scholarship:
Applicants may apply without prior enrolment in the course for which the
scholarship is open. The requirement of enrolment in a non-degree course will
be verified on the date the scholarship is granted.
For the scholarships to be awarded, the selected candidates will have to
present valid proof of enrolment in the non-degree course, according to the
type of scholarship they are applying for, issued by the academic services of
the Higher Education Institution.
