Varied hours between 8:30am – 5:30pm Monday -Friday dependent on staffing needs.

Pay Rate $25 / hour Minimum Experience/Education

Three years of experience providing direct nursing care as a Registered Nurse. Nursing experience in an ambulatory medical practice – primary or urgent care or college health.

Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:

Strong computer skills with experience using electronic medical records. Primary Care experience preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

Cover nurse staffing needs within the various clinics at the Student Health Center. Work with medical providers to manage patient schedule performing patient intakes including vital signs, administering treatments and assist with procedures.

Other Work/Responsibilities

Perform patient triage in person and by phone.

Necessary Licenses or Certifications

Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of North Carolina or other compact state.
