  • Duties and Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    The TV Assistant will perform specific duties necessary for the overall operation of Television Programming transmission and other departmental duties.

    Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides technical support such as mounting and dismounting of TV equipment during field and studio recordings including audio and video.
  • Uses technical expertise to help staff with video recordings.
  • Uses technical expertise to perform dubbing and footage acquisition for daily programming.
  • Provides assistance in the maintenance of the video library control.
  • Performs minor administrative duties for departmental control.
  • Installs and operates during repairs along with other members of the staff.
  • Performs other duties assigned by the Television Producer and Director of LC Television in order to carry out departmental tasks.
  • Qualifications/Certifications/Licenses/Skills

    Required:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Possesses experience with the use of current computer software and equipment. Must be familiar with Internet applications. Some specific training required after employment.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    Must have computer skill knowledge of MS Office and video technology both digital and analog. Must have ability to accept and follow instructions, meet deadlines, and work under pressure. Must be able to initiate and carry out tasks completely.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit.
