    CQUniversity's Digital Services Directorate works to deliver high quality tech support for learning, teaching, research and corporate functions across the University. The Directorate fosters an innovative and agile team environment and are focused on staff development and keeping up with immerging trends in technology and user experience.

    In this position you will be exposed to the latest systems, software and processes that will help super charge the development of your industry skills and provide you an experience with a highly successful and inclusive University. You will bring to the position a strong customer service focus and use your efficient communication skills to deal sensitively with clients in a friendly and professional manner.

    Position Requirements
  • Proficiency knowledge in the operation of computer applications and the ability to learn new systems efficiently and effectively. Knowledge and experience in at least two systems must be demonstrated.
  • Demonstrated high level of communication skills (interpersonal and written) with an ability to maintain confidentiality, deal sensitively with clients and in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Using a structured problem-solving methodology, demonstrate an ability to work under broad supervision to resolve customer problems, to follow through on requests and/or escalate more extensive problems, and to negotiate satisfactory outcomes to all stakeholders and services.
  • A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team, and autonomously from time-to-time, to achieve good results and successful outcomes in targeted timeframes using prioritisation under pressure.
  • A commitment to continual improvement, innovation and learning and ability to work collaboratively with other team members to identify and develop new systems and services, system improvements and work processes.
