The compensation for this appointment will range from $24.00-$29.00 hourly and reflects what California Baptist University reasonably expects to pay for this staff appointment. Actual compensation may vary based on the qualifications and experience of the applicant, as well as market conditions. In addition to wages, CBU offers a robust suite of employee benefits.

Position Summary Information

Summary

The role of the Technology and Learning Resources Coordinator is to provide direct support for the functions and organization of the College of Nursing Learning environments and innovative technology.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists with the daily operations of the College of Nursing learning environments.
  • Oversees computer hardware and audio-video recording systems within the learning environments.
  • Collaborates with the University Informational Technology departments to identify and resolve technology and audio-visual issues within the College of Nursing learning environments.
  • Coordinates the inventory supply chain for College of Nursing operations.
  • Collaborates to develop protocols and procedures for operational learning activities.
  • Manages the coordination of student workers and daily assignments.
  • Performs operational checks on equipment and facilitates repairs with vendors.
  • Develops and maintains an operational manual of all educational technologies.
  • Reviewing proposals for new and innovative learning resources.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities

    This position is responsible for assigning work and/or giving direction to student workers, in order to complete work assignments.

  • Ability to maintain higher level academic relations and community partnerships.
  • Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
  • Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects.
  • Ability to read and write at a level appropriate to the duties of the position.
  • Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information.
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff and student body.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and/or special events.
  • Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
  • Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain an inventory check system.
  • Education and/or Experience

    Master's degree preferred, or a Bachelor's degree with related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
