An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technician to join the fast growing team at Falmouth University's Games Academy.
This is a pivotal role in the department, providing a professional level of technical instruction, curriculum support, demonstration and supervision for the technical facilities, equipment and/or processes for all of the subjects of the School. This includes the set-up, maintenance and supply of resources and equipment, and the provision of technical assistance, advice and instruction to all stakeholders, including students, academic staff, and external customers.About You
The successful candidate for this role will need to be a pro-active “team player” who is conscientious and hard-working who actively plays their part in continuing to make Falmouth University a great place to work. Alongside these core qualities, you'll have experience in game development, with either a programming or art background, alongside strong technical and IT skills. Previous experience of working with an education environment would also be desirable.
