Do you have a passion for photography, film, and audio-visual equipment? At UCA we are looking to grow our family of Technician Assistants and are seeking a colleague who can work in our Media Stores.
You will be working in a fast paced and exciting environment, managing our loan system (SISO) and equipment stock. You will be issuing film, photographic and audio equipment to our students and staff, as well as providing over the counter support.
Key to this position is the ability to monitor and track loans using the online booking software. Having strong attention to detail will be necessary when issuing or receiving returning equipment and checking it for defects and completeness. It would also be advantageous if you were technically minded and have an aptitude for problem solving and assisting students in realising their vision.
To be successful you will be well-organised and possess a good working knowledge of film, photography, and audio-visual equipment. Candidates will have experience of working in a busy environment and possess excellent?communication, organisational and inter-personal skills. You must be able to demonstrate that you can work accurately and will have the opportunity to develop new skills and experience across a wide range of technical workshops.
