This student worker would aid the technical director in the following ways:
- Cleaning and upkeep of the scene/prop shop and storage, the theater, and any other areas defined by the technical director.
- Build of the props and sets for the productions
- Organization of the technical theatre areas
- Aid the Lighting Designer and Technical director in electrics, hanging and focusing and any other lighting and sound production
- Communicating any shop needs to the technical director
- Any other areas of need defined by the technical director
Job Requirements
Candidates will be working with various building materials, including but not limited to: wood, plastic, styrofoam, metal and fabric. The candidates should be comfortable working with hand and power tools, and sometimes working on ladders, but skills are also taught as needed.
