As the team-leader reporting to the Facilities Services Manager, the role holder is responsible for the delivery and development of the custodian team delivering all services to the Cambridge Judge Business School (CJBS) portfolio. They will lead the personal development of the team and ensure standards of service delivery are being met in line with the CJBS strategy and requirement.
As supervisor of the Custodian team, any agency cover and sub-contractors who may be involved in the provision of custodial services, the Team Leader is responsible for the delivery of high standards across all areas of activity and leads on projects within the Custodian Team. They will also assist the Team in the delivery of all aspects of practical work, auditing and maintenance of CJBS assets (namely teaching equipment). With the Senior Building Technician, assist with any basic maintenance task/project and conduct all statutory tasks such as emergency light checks, fire alarm checks, lift checks, water flushing and temperature checks (legionella). As supervisor of the custodian team, whilst reporting to the Facilities Services Manager, the role holder will ensure the service and standards are being delivered as required. They will also provide suitable cover of the Senior Building Technician in times of their absence, ensuring safety checks and basic maintenance tasks are completed in all premises.
Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment, a security check and a standard Disclosure and Barring Service check.
