PeoplesFuture Limited is a dedicated subsidiary within the Coventry University Group .We are recognised as a Higher Education and Industry Leader.

Working as a Teaching Fellow, you will be committed to contributing to our continued success in teaching within the field of sport. You will join a School with high levels of teaching quality and student satisfaction with a focus on experiential learning through interactive learning, practical sessions and student projects.

You will ideally have an MSc, PhD or equivalent professional experience, or a significant track record of high-profile industry experience or professional practice in sports coaching, alongside degree-level qualifications and subject knowledge in Sports Coaching or a related area. We would especially welcome your application if you have expertise in pedagogy, motor learning, skill acquisition, psychology of sports coaching, sociology of sports coaching, youth strength and conditioning and research methods.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to ongoing innovation and improvement in pedagogy; those without a teaching qualification will need to undertake Coventry University's PGCHE and/or secure HEA fellowship.

Applicants from academia will have experience and success in delivering high- quality teaching and learning opportunities. Applicants from a non-academic background are also welcome but must demonstrate relevant and recent work experience of the subject matter and of training, coaching or mentoring delivery. Don't think you meet every single requirement? We're dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workplace, so if you are excited by this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every aspect of the job description or person specification don't worry! We encourage you to apply, you may be exactly what we are looking for.
