About the role
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow in Mandarin, who will lead on all aspects of the Mandarin language provision on the University's Institution- Wide Language Programme and its Community Courses programme, including:
This post is offered on a 0.75 FTE (27.38 hours a week) permanent basis.
About you
We are seeking keen, hardworking applicants, highly committed to learning, teaching and skills development with experience of teaching Mandarin, preferably in a higher education context, to:
You will have a degree in a relevant subject area with a language teaching qualification and proficiency in Mandarin. You will have excellent knowledge of language-teaching pedagogy, will be open to growth and are willing to positively engage with further training and share your expertise with colleagues when appropriate.
You will possess outstanding organisational and time management skills, as well as the ability to cultivate an excellent working relationship with the rest of the language team.
