Position Summary

Qualified individuals are being sought to establish a pool of readily available talented persons from which these vacancies can be filled as they occur. The adjunct instructor is responsible for teaching undergraduate or graduate courses in the School of Education. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about teaching and student success.

POSITIONS: UNT Dallas is hiring for the following adjunct positions for the Fall 2021 semester. Bilingual Education Curriculum and Instruction Educational Leadership English as a Second Language Educator Multicultural Education Teacher Education Music Education Kinesiology Education

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in bilingual education, health education, and/or early childhood education.

Current teaching certifications in the State of Texas

Availability for both day and evening face-to-face and remote courses.

Availability to teach at both Dallas and Navarro Community College – Midlothian campuses.

Minimum of 3 years teaching public education in early childhood and elementary.

Minimum experience of 1year teaching courses in a higher education institute.

For bilingual – fluent English/Spanish in all four linguistic domains, with fluent academic competency in both languages.

Demonstrates ability to follow collaborate with faculty to provide essential instruction in courses for certification preparation.

Preferred Qualifications

Terminal degree in the discipline or a closely related discipline.

Demonstrated experience teaching undergraduate courses.

Academic experience working on a campus with culturally diverse students, staff, and faculty.

Bilingual skills for positions in EC-6 Bilingual program

Required License / Registration / Certification

As required to meet the academic schedule.
