Are you looking for a creative opportunity to develop and deliver events with real impact?

Join the University of Bath's growing Advancement Office as our Supporter Events Assistant. You will play a key role in delivering a bespoke programme of events to engage alumni and supporters and connect individuals directly with our globally significant research.

As the Supporter Events Assistant you will work closely with a range of colleagues to deliver high quality events. You will have the opportunity to lead on our Get Connected programme, through which recent graduates connect with other alumni for career inspiration. You will also lead on coordinating reunion events for different groups of alumni.

About you

You will:

  • Have experience delivering events and be committed to providing our supporters with an excellent experience.
  • Demonstrate brilliant communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders of differing levels.
  • Possess excellent organisational skills including the ability to time manage, work under pressure and respond to competing priorities.
  • Have the ability to work autonomously and as an effective team member.
  • Previous experience in a marketing, higher education or fundraising setting is desirable, however, not essential.

    The Advancement Office

    This is a permanent, full time position working 36.5 hours per week. Some evening and weekend work will be required, for which time off in lieu will be granted.
