ROSE STATE COLLEGE ANNOUNCES AN OPENING IN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
POSITION: Supervisor, Mail Center/Print Shop
Description of Duties: Prioritize, organize, plan and assist in the management of the daily operations of the mail room/print shop. Provide supervision and training for mail room/print shop employees. Ensure accuracy, quality and confidentiality of copy work processed in the print shop. Provide courier service to local banks, State Capital offices, State Regents and College Regents. Operate and maintain equipment, supplies and other materials utilized in the mail room/print shop. Maintain record of service charges and bill to proper departmental accounts. Prepare bulk rate mailings for delivery and submission to the U. S. Post Office. Operate mass production copiers, binding machines, desktop computers and relevant software. Communicate with vendors regarding the ordering of supplies, equipment maintenance and postage updates. Maintain familiarity with applicable USPS regulations, rates, processes and procedures. Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the mail room and print shop areas. Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Two (2) years experience working in a mail room. One (1) year supervisory experience. Knowledge of postal regulations, mailing procedures and copyright laws. Ability to use a 10-key calculator. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a member of a team. Valid Oklahoma Driver's License. Moderate to heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs and moderate to heavy carrying up to 50 lbs. Ability to reach above shoulder. Periods of time spent sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, bending and stooping.
Desired Qualifications: Associate's Degree or equivalent. Three (3) years experience working in a mail room.
