The Candidate will work in the Fluorescence Microscopy Super-resolution team as part of the D Tails-IIT Joint Lab facility. The project to be developed in the field of Ophthalmoscopic imaging, is the realization of Scan-Less Super Resolution Apparatus capable to detect sub-micron fluorescent structures on the retina (eye Fundus)
The project to merge various state of the art optical techniques such as
- Structured illumination microscopy Gustafsson
- fast wavefront correction Liang
- super-resolution images deconvolution Yeh
in order to provide a more power, faster and super-resolved tool for fluorescence and reflectance retinal imaging.
The candidate will thus require a strong experience in classical optics, geometric optics, experimental optics and optical bench experience.
