Herzing University has a temporary, part-time contract role for a remote Subject Matter Expert to specialize in our Nursing programs, specifically serving in the role of Direct Entry Master of Science in Nursing (DEMSN) QA reviewer. This temporary, contract role reports to the Project Manager of Course Development. We are looking for a Nursing Educator professional who can focus on reviewing newly built courses for the DEMSN program. Expertise is needed in the area of grammar, content and question alignment.

Examples of initiatives in this role include:

Compare Final course road map to content in adaptive platform.

Confirm that content found within each competency aligns with the competency title.

Confirm that content flows in an appropriate order in the adaptive platform.

Verify that all links and videos are working correctly.

Verify that content and Knowledge Check Questions (KCQs) match in each competency.

Identify any incorrectly keyed or poorly written Knowledge Check Questions (KCQs).

Document all findings on the provided QA spreadsheet and submit to the Project Manager

Review exam items for alignment with course learning objectives, content, and the NCLEX RN test plan.

Complete the Course review checklist for each course.

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing

Minimum 2 years' experience teaching pre-licensure nursing students at the BSN or MSN level

DEMSN QA process training (provided upon hire)

Nursing curriculum development and assessment experience preferred

Preferred Education:

Doctoral or Master's Degree in Nursing
